July 3, 2018 (BRUSSELS) – Cambre Associates announced that Chief Executive Officer Tom Parker is taking on an international role as Chief Sales Officer at the SEC Group, and Victoria Main, currently head of technology and media, is his successor. The changes are effective immediately.
An influential figure in the Brussels government relations and public affairs community, Tom will become company Chairman and retain certain client and business development responsibilities at Cambre. The consultancy is part of the SEC Group, a global partnership of entrepreneurial agencies specialised in advocacy, public relations and strategic communications.
“I’m excited to be taking on this new opportunity within the SEC Group at a time when this remarkable partnership of like-minded consultancies is expanding its global footprint. As a co-founder of Cambre, I’m fully committed to continuing to play an active role wherever I add value,” Tom Parker said.
“I’m delighted to hand over to Victoria, who is known for her strategic acumen, hands-on delivery and network in Brussels and beyond,” he said.
Previously with Nokia as head of global media relations, Victoria brought to Cambre her extensive international experience both in PR and journalism. She launched the company’s thriving technology practice as well as the award-winning Brussels Calling debates with leading journalists covering the EU.
“I’m honoured to have the opportunity to lead the talented Cambre team in our constant quest to perfect the ways we support our clients in their hyper-competitive worlds,” Victoria Main said.
