Cambre Associates announced that Chairman Tom Parker, who is also Chief Sales Officer at the SEC Group, has been chosen as President of the British Chamber of Commerce EU and Belgium, with immediate effect.
“I’m honoured to have the opportunity to take up this challenge at such a critical time for EU-UK relations, particularly at the business level. Whatever the outcome of the future UK-EU relationship, transparency, predictability and legal certainty should be guiding principles,” Tom Parker said.
An influential figure in the Brussels government relations and public affairs community, Tom Parker in July 2018 became Chairman at Cambre and was promoted to the new CSO role at the SEC Group, a global partnership of entrepreneurial agencies specialised in advocacy, public relations and strategic communications. Cambre, which he co-founded and most recently managed as Chief Executive Officer, is a member of the SEC Group.
In the BritCham role, Tom Parker succeeds Thomas Spiller, who is Vice President, Global Public Policy, Europe, Middle East & Africa of The Walt Disney Company.
